Courses in garden history
The Courses in Garden History are open to all those who would like to enlarge their knowledge of the history of the garden in Italy and abroad. They are divided into three modules and in each of these an special subject will be examined: from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon to the present-day business parks.

The three modules may be followed separately or in following ways:
Basic: 1 module (A, B or C)
Advanced: 2 modules (A+B, B+C or C+A)
Superior: 3 modules (A+B+C)
Each single module lasts 2 weeks for a total of 24 hours. Classes take place in the afternoons, from Monday to Friday plus, on the first Saturday of each module, a 4 hour visit to a garden or villa in Florence or Tuscany.

Other visits to parks and gardens in Florence, Fiesole and Tuscany are included.
Though classes are held mainly in Italian, on request, we can organise lessons in English.
To ensure a good teaching level and personal attention the maximum number of participants is limited to 20.
